We've Relocated

Well, as many of you know, the house fell out of escrow back in April. It's still on the market and we are hoping that the market turns around soon! It would be nice not to worry about this when the Baby Luc arrives.
In the meantime, we've relocated to Burbank. Back to the ol' stompin' grounds. It's been an insane couple of weeks. Evan was sick (the worst in his little life) last week. And he decided to share his illness with Mommy. So, now I'm sick this week.
Both Chad and I have started new jobs. We are still adjusting to these changes and thank the Lord that Evan has been wonderful through all this. I felt really awful changing his whole little life in a matter of days.
Just wanted to update you all on our status. We just got internet access today so I will post with pictures soon. We'll fully transition to our Mac website over the next few weeks.
Hugs to all!

Easter Best

It was one of the busiest weekends ever. Evan almost made it through unscathed, until he fell Saturday afternoon and busted his lower lip. Poor baby. Mommy and Daddy were scared because face injuries are pretty messy. Luckily, he recovered quite well and was every bit a little gentlemen on Sunday. Cousins Bella and Ava were on hand for our first and last Easter in Vista, CA.

Who's This?

Well, it's been a while since my last entry and lots has happened. First of all, this little someone is on their way. Yup, Evan will have a lifelong friend in September. Secondly, due to this little someone, we need to get a bigger house. Two bedrooms aren't going to work for us anymore. Therefore, we have sold our real estate gem and are on the move again. You may think that we move a lot. And, we agree. We are quite the professionals at it by now. Basically, that's what is going on with us. Escrow closes next week and then we will settle down someplace. We aren't sure where that is going to be right now. We like to keep you all on your toes, but we'll be sure to update you soon! Until next time!

Coloring

Evan loves to color. Everyday he'll spend 15 to 30 minutes creating colorful mini-masterpieces. It's actually kind of fun for us to color with him during that time, too. We love to watch this little guy focus on his art. Do you see the concentration?

Evan at 16 months

We tried to get some stills of our boy. Unfortunately, he doesn't necessarily hold still. As you can see from these photos, he's a very active toddler. All this took place within 60 seconds. Up, down, all around.
The best part about this age is hearing him try to speak. His babbling is more purposeful now. He tries to say what we say. Instead of "truck" he says "tuck". Instead of "mas" he says "ma". It won't be long before he goes off to college.
