Two Years

It's really been two years! The most insane year and a half  (5 moves in 18 months) of our lives has come and gone (thank goodness) and we've been here in Oregon for a year. A whole year on August 16. Crazy. (In case you think my math is incorrect, 2 of our moves were here in Oregon.)

People have asked if we like it here. Yeah, it's okay. It just doesn't feel like home. At least that's what I think. I wrote in my journal the other day that I thought something was wrong with me because I don't feel 'settled in' yet. 

Chad, however, has acclimated quite nicely. He really, really likes it.

Don't take me wrong. I love our home. I love our neighborhood. Outside of that though, everything still feels foreign.

I suppose it'll take a bit more time.
